PSYCHE AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE: THEORETICAL LIMITS OF AUTOMATION OF THINKING

The article examines the fundamental impossibility of endowing artificial intelligence (AI) with a psyche from the standpoint of Jacques Lacan's psychoanalytic theory. Key aspects of human subjectivity are analyzed - structuring through three registers (Symbolic, Imaginary, Real), the role of desire generated by lack (manque), and intersubjectivity as a condition for recognizing the Other (Autre). It is demonstrated that AI, despite its ability to imitate cognitive functions (language processing, logical operations), remains outside the symbolic order. The article criticizes anthropomorphic illusions about the "consciousness of AI" and discusses the ethical risks of such a position. The need to recognize the radical otherness of AI in order to preserve the anthropological specificity of thinking is emphasized
