FEATURES OF DEFECT FORMATION IN STEEL CASTINGS
An analysis of the mechanical properties of samples taken from various points of metal castings, in the production process of which 20GL steel was used, is presented. The relationship between the sampling site and the reduced mechanical properties of steel is shown. Recommendations are given on the place of sampling to control the mechanical properties that ensure the production of high-quality products
