Ergonomic analysis with changes in the mould maintenance process at the in the shope floor workstation
This article performs ergonomic and postural analyses to verify the existence of risks in the activities carried out by workers at a plastic injection factory located in the Manaus Industrial Hub and proposes modifications to the work environment. The methods were through direct or indirect observation and photographic records of workers' activities in the workplace, OWAS identifies the impact of postures on the musculoskeletal system, helping to determine risk levels and prevent problems such as repetitive strain injuries. Metal benches were developed so that workers can carry out their activities without harming their health and with safety for those carrying out this type of activity. The work environment was changed to ensure more appropriate postures resulting in less physical fatigue and better application of ergonomics to improve working conditions.
