Evaluating Buzzy Technique's Effect on Pain and Parental Satisfaction Using Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test
The Buzzy approach is tested for its ability to reduce discomfort and improve parental satisfaction during pediatric needle operations. The Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test is used to compare pain ratings and parental satisfaction before and after Buzzy gadget usage. The purpose is to establish whether the Buzzy approach substantially reduces child pain perception and enhances parental satisfaction, offering a non-pharmacological pain treatment solution in clinical practice. To determine the Buzzy technique's statistical significance, pain and satisfaction ratings will be analyzed. This assessment will help determine how the Buzzy device may be used in pediatric care, which might guide future pain treatment strategies that priorities patient comfort and parental satisfaction. First buzzy pain data instance results for random patients at different time points were discussed. Prebuzzy 1 of 5 patients has a value of 17-58, Postbuzzy 1 of 5 has 24-65, Postbuzzy 2 has 33-74, Postbuzzy 3 has 42-83, and Postbuzzy 4 has 42-81. Data for random 5 patients at different timepoints was addressed in BuzzySatisfaction instance 2. The value ranges from 13-44 for Prebuzzy 1 of 5 patients, 25-56 for Postbuzzy 1, 37-68 for Postbuzzy 2, 48-79 for Postbuzzy 3, and 10-89 for Postbuzzy 4.
