Dual-Module Blood Bank Web System: The Donor and the Receiver Integration

The purpose of this paper is to minimize the steps inclusive in blood donation process. It focuses on the practice of blood donation and comes up with an Android application developed to enable patients get a convenient manner of donating blood. The application is designed from the patients and donors point of view. It also has a validation for the new and old clients, with open registration and login in new and old client's selections options, to check and confirm personal details as well as locate near by donation centres. Blood is required in almost all surgeries performed in the current world, and the requirement of blood is continually rising due to new medical technologies that are being developed. But things like scarcity and poor supply are still a problem to date. Driving people to make a donation is not enough, when there is no well-coordinated blood management program in the country[1].
