Smart Water Dispenser: Integrating Voice Commands and Facial Gestures
In this paper, we introduce a novel water dispensing system that leverages voice recognition and head movement tracking to provide a seamless, hands-free user experience. Traditional water dispensers require manual operation for selecting and dispensing hot, cold, or normal water, which can be inefficient and inconvenient. Our system addresses these issues by integrating advanced voice detection algorithms and real-time head movement tracking technology. Users can issue verbal commands to specify their preferred water temperature, while head gestures are employed to refine and confirm their selection. This dual-interface approach not only enhances usability but also caters to individuals with physical disabilities, improving accessibility and ease of use. We present the system's design, implementation, and preliminary user testing results, demonstrating its potential to transform traditional water dispensing methods into a more intuitive and inclusive solution. This innovation aims to streamline user interaction and set a new standard for smart appliance interfaces.
