Analysis of the Smart Transportation Gulfstream G650 Business Jet Components Using CFD
The main objective of this study is to apply strategic design improvements to the Gulfstream G650 business jet in order to improve its aerodynamic performance and passenger comfort. To attain greater aerodynamic efficiency and structural integrity, key elements such as the landing gear configuration, wing design, and interior layout must be optimized. Comprehensive simulations are conducted to find and fix performance gaps using cutting-edge engineering tools including ANSYS for finite element analysis (FEA) and SolidWorks for computer-aided design (CAD). Airflow dynamics over the wing and fuselage are assessed and improved using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis, which decreased the drag and improved overall aerodynamic performance. Static structural analysis simultaneously improved safety and dependability by ensuring that the landing gear and other load-bearing elements could tolerate operational pressures. In order to maximize weight, durability, and fatigue resistance, material selection is also crucial. The Gulfstream G650’s reputation for excellence in executive aviation is upheld by the improvements made possible by this study, which also increase fuel efficiency, improve structural resilience, and increase passenger luxury. This study supports the continuous development of high-performance business jets by fusing innovation and precision engineering, thereby solidifying the G650’s dominance in the market for high-end, long-haul, and fast air travel.
