Practical Application and Necessity Analysis of 5W2H Analysis Method in Electrical Construction of a Newly-built Large Nuclear Chemical Plant

With the continuous development of the nuclear fuel cycle industry in China, the scale of nuclear chemical plant has also been expanded as the demand has increased. A complete nuclear chemical plant requires not only rigorous and comprehensive design by the designer at the beginning, but also careful and patient guidance during the construction process to ensure that the design intent is fully implemented in the project. Electrical design and construction are an important part of a newly-built nuclear chemical plant, the reliability and stability of the power supply system are crucial to the stable operation and nuclear safety of the nuclear chemical plant, which makes the quality control of the electrical system during construction and installation extremely important. This means that in the process of project construction, electrical designers should not only guide the construction based on the existing mature construction and installation process, but also follow the pace of development and integrate more advanced and appropriate design and construction management concepts to enable nuclear chemical construction to move forward better and faster. Based on the electrical construction coordination of a large newly-built nuclear chemical plant, this paper innovatively explores the application of the 5W2H analysis method in engineering design management and on-site construction coordination for the first time. Through the example of electrical equipment installation, this paper illustrates the actual operation mode of the 5W2H analysis method and analyzes the significance of the 5W2H analysis method in electrical construction management in large nuclear chemical plants. Finally, this paper looks forward to the application prospect of 5W2H analysis method in the electrical construction of large commercial nuclear chemical engineering plant in the future.
