Real-Time Monitoring in Healthcare: Addressing Technical and Ethical Issues with Digital Twin Technology
With the use of dynamic virtual reproductions of physical systems, Digital Twin technology is quickly becoming a game-changing tool in healthcare that allows for improved real-time patient health monitoring. This work examines the use of digital twins for real-time healthcare monitoring, emphasizing the ethical and technical issues. We analyze the core technical issues, including data integration, system scalability, and interoperability, highlighting how these challenges impact the effectiveness of Digital Twin systems. Additionally, we address critical ethical concerns such as data privacy, informed consent, and equity in access, emphasizing the importance of ethical considerations in deploying these technologies. This article offers a thorough overview of how Digital Twin technology might be utilized to enhance patient care while navigating the related issues through an examination of existing methods, case studies, and developing trends. The findings offer insights and recommendations for advancing real-time monitoring capabilities in healthcare, ensuring that technological innovations are aligned with ethical standards and contribute positively to patient outcomes.
