Research on Fault Diagnosis Method of Transformer Winding Based on Transient Signal and Frequency Response Information
Transformer as the core equipment to ensure the stable operation of the power system, and winding damage is the main factor causing transformer failure, so accurately determine the state of the transformer winding is to ensure the normal operation of the transformer key. In this paper, based on the transient signals extracted from the transient recording device, we propose a fault diagnosis method of transformer winding based on the transient signals and frequency response curves. Firstly, we set up a test platform for transformer winding, obtain the transient signals of different fault types of the transformer and convert them into frequency response curves, and then extract the characteristic parameters of correlation coefficients to analyze the state of the transformer, and then verify the method with transient signals collected by the transient recording device in the field. The test results show that the field data verifies the validity of the test platform, the transient signals can characterize the transformer winding state, and the correlation coefficients extracted from the frequency response curves of the transient signals can be used to carry out fault diagnosis of the transformer winding.
