Advanced Load Monitoring System for Energy Audits Using Programmable Meters
This work aims to increase the effectiveness of energy audits by calculating the energy consumption of a load in units and the related expenditures. The present investigation involves the computation of a connected load's power factor, apparent power (S), reactive power (Q), active power (P), and IRMS. Lastly, we designed a programmable meter that simplifies the process of understanding by a layperson the energy consumed by a certain load at a given time.
