Survey on the Facial Recognition of Humans with Masks Post Covid Using Artificial Intelligence
Face detection is the process of identifying human faces in digital images or videos. With the emergence of COVID-19, the use of masks has become widespread, which has presented a new challenge for face detection systems. Mask-based face detection is a variation of traditional face detection that aims to detect faces even when individuals are wearing masks. Facial recognition is a technology that uses algorithms to identify or verify individuals based on their facial features. This technology can be used in various applications such as security, access control, attendance management, and more. Recognizing individuals wearing masks can be a challenging task due to the reduced visibility of facial features. One approach to overcome this challenge is to use neural networks with more layers, such as Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), which can be trained to recognize individuals based on their facial features, even when they are wearing a mask.
