Manipulable Spin Filter by δ-Doping in Rashba Spin-Orbit-Coupling Modulated Layered-Semiconductor Nanostructure
Effect of a δ-potential to an electron-spin filter based on Rashba spin-orbit-coupling modulated layered semiconductor nanostructure is explored. An appreciable spin polarization effect still exists because the δ-doping does not erase Rashba SOC. Moreover, spin polarization ratio can be efficiently manipulated by weight or position of δ-doping. Thus, a doping-controllable electron-spin filter can be obtained for spintronics devices.
