Management Information System for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Application Form Based on E-Portfolio

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is a program aimed at acknowledging and granting credit for learning experiences gained outside of formal education, such as work experience, training, and certifications. RPL allows these competencies to be converted into academic courses within formal degree programs, thereby accelerating graduation and supporting lifelong learning. However, a primary challenge in implementing RPL lies in the assessment process for supporting documents, such as certificates and training modules, which can be time-consuming and prone to errors when done manually. Therefore, there is a need for a system that can enhance efficiency and accuracy in the recognition of learning. This research focuses on the development of an information system that can expedite administrative processes, improve transparency, and provide a more objective method for recognizing prior learning. With this system, it is expected that the RPL application process can be conducted more effectively, benefiting both students and educational institutions.
