PELATIHAN PEMBUATAN VIDEO CAMPAIGN CEGAH PEMBAKARAN SAMPAH SEBAGAI EDUKASI MASYARAKAT DESA CIKARAGEMAN

Cikarageman Village has abundant natural potential but still faces serious waste management issues. Low public awareness of the negative impacts of waste burning leads to air pollution and environmental contamination. The lack of education and inadequate waste management facilities further exacerbates this condition. As a solution, this program aims to raise public awareness through a digital campaign based on educational videos. The method used consists of four main stages: (1) Preparation, (2) Socialization of the dangers of waste burning, (3) Training on video campaign creation, and (4) Evaluation. The results show that participants gained a better understanding of the dangers of waste burning and alternative waste management methods compared to before the socialization. Additionally, some participants felt capable of creating simple video campaigns after receiving training. The video campaigns produced during the training sessions were successfully distributed through the village’s social media, reaching a broader audience and enhancing the educational impact of the program. Thus, this program not only increases individual awareness but also establishes a more extensive and sustainable digital-based environmental education system in Cikarageman Village.
