Features of Company Sales in the Market of Transportation and Logistics Services

Organization of sales of transport and logistics services has its own specifics, as this kind of services is characterized by a special planning system, the use of different types of transport, the lack of a material product and many elements and factors affecting the implementation of the process of selling services. Organization of sales includes the whole process of providing transport and logistics services - from the order process for transportation, its placement, processing to the final payment for services. In this regard, it seems relevant to study the peculiarities of the sales organization of the company in the market of transport and logistics services. The purpose of the paper is to study the industry specifics of transport and logistics services, the organization of sales of transport and logistics services, taking into account the components of their provision. The article analyzes the indicators of the infrastructure of road and river freight transportation in the Irkutsk region, the dynamics of the length of public roads in the Irkutsk region that do not meet the regulatory requirements, indices of tariffs for freight transportation in the Irkutsk region. The study showed that the problems of the transportation and logistics services market are related to geopolitical changes, including economic sanctions of a number of countries against Russia; a high proportion of the length of roads that do not meet the regulatory requirements in the Irkutsk region; a significant increase in prices for transportation services. The following ways to solve the identified problems are proposed: development of transportation between Russia and Asian countries; improvement of the condition of roads in the Irkutsk region; active use of inland river transport during the navigation period to reduce the cost of cargo transportation.
