The study was undertaken to evaluate the effectiveness of raj yoga meditation on promotion of mental well-being among alcoholic patient Quantitative approach with one group pre-test, post-test design was used for the present study. The sample for the pilot study consists of 10 alcoholic patient selected by probability convenient sampling technique. Warwick-Edinburgh Mental Well-being scale. During the pre-test the demographic data and level of mental well-being was assessed by Warwick-edinburgh mental wellbeing scale after that the percentage of pre-test mean score 25.5 and post-test mean score 52.9. The standard deviation valve for pre-test 6.39 and post-test 8.04 respectively. Since the p valve is less than 0.05 hence the research hypothesis (H1) was accepted. The study revealed that the rajyoga meditation was effective in promotion of mental well-being among alcoholic patient.
