PARAMETER CONTROL SYSTEMS FOR MAIN GAS PIPELINES
Monitoring of parameters on main gas pipelines is a key element in ensuring safe and efficient operation. The main objectives of monitoring include control over the condition of transported gas and equipment, timely detection of deviations from normal conditions, and prevention of emergency situations. These functions are implemented using various sensors and analysis systems that provide data on pressure, temperature and gas flow. The information received allows operators to quickly respond to changes in the system and prevent possible threats. Continuous improvement of monitoring systems also plays an important role. The article is devoted to the analysis of parameter monitoring systems used on main gas pipelines in order to identify their key functions and assess their impact on the safety and reliability of gas transportation. The main objectives are to study the operating principles of various types of sensors, classify monitoring systems and analyze their role in preventing accidents and optimizing processes. The article discusses the main types of parameter monitoring systems, their classification, functions and operating principles. Particular attention is paid to modern technologies such as automation, the use of artificial intelligence and big data analysis, and an analysis of their impact on the efficiency and safety of main gas pipeline operation is also carried out.
