PROSPECTS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF SAFFRON BUSINESS IN UKRAINE
The paper examines the current state and prospects for the development of the saffron business in Ukraine. The advantages of cultivating Crocus sativus under Ukrainian climatic conditions, economic feasibility, marketing challenges, and the need for certification are analyzed. Solutions to overcome existing barriers are proposed, and the export potential of Ukrainian saffron to international markets is outlined. The study aims to raise interest in niche, highly profitable crops among farmers.
