EUROPEAN PRIORITIES OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT LAND USE

The abstracts consider European priorities for sustainable land use development, in particular the main strategic initiatives of the European Union aimed at achieving climate neutrality and preserving natural resources. Particular attention is paid to the European Green Deal, the Biodiversity Strategy and the Farm to Fork Program, as well as successful examples of sustainable land use in EU countries. The practices of agroforestry, organic farming and the restoration of degraded lands are discussed as a basis for achieving sustainable development. The prospects for the development of sustainable land use in Europe are presented, including innovative technologies, cooperation between EU countries and legislative initiatives to support sustainable practices.
