Information and Educational Environment of Physics Education in the Context of Digital Transformation of Education

The concept of the information and educational environment (IEE) is increasingly establishing itself as a key element in the modernization of the educational system under conditions of digital transformation. Due to its interdisciplinary nature, IEE encompasses pedagogical, information-technological, psychological, and sociocultural dimensions of organizing the educational process. This article analyzes theoretical and scientific approaches to understanding the notion of the information and educational environment (IEE) in the context of modern digital transformation in education. Emphasis is placed on its multidimensionality, interdisciplinary character, and variability of interpretations. It is argued that IEE should not be reduced to a set of digital tools, as it represents a holistic system that integrates information resources, pedagogical technologies, and technical means for the effective organization of the educational process. Special attention is paid to the necessity of integrating digital resources and tools into the educational environment structure, which is driven both by the societal demand for digital literacy and the specifics of physics as an experimental science. The relevance of creating IEE in the process of teaching physics in general secondary education institutions is substantiated, as it is a prerequisite for shaping students' scientific worldview, developing their critical and logical thinking, and enhancing their cognitive activity. The article outlines three key components of IEE content-related, organizational, and technological — each performing a specific function in ensuring a comprehensive educational process. The levels of IEE functioning are described – from technical infrastructure to the learner-centered level which enable the individualization and differentiation of physics education, integration of digital tools, and development of research skills under conditions of limited material and technical resources. IEE in physics education is presented not merely as a digital tool, but as a comprehensive learning environment that fosters scientific thinking, personalizes learning trajectories, and meets the requirements of the modern educational paradigm.
