Research on the correction method for detecting the roughness of rural highway
In rural road surface condition detection, laser roughness meter is widely used as a commonly used method for detecting road surface roughness. However, due to the many sharp turns and complex traffic flow on rural roads, the accuracy of roughness detection is affected. Through analysis, it was found that the vertical section elevation error caused by turning and rapid acceleration and deceleration is mainly manifested in the phase deviation between the inertial reference datum and the laser elevation, and the frequency distribution of the error is in the range of 1-5Hz. Therefore, a longitudinal profile elevation correction algorithm based on Fourier transform waveform decomposition is proposed to correct the roughness, which improves the accuracy of roughness under sharp turns and sudden changes. Verified through experiments that the correction effect is good.
