Research on maintenance strategies and quality control for key components of electric train bogies
The current maintenance plans for electric trains in China primarily follow a "preventive maintenance as the main strategy, with emergency maintenance as a supplement" approach. Fixed maintenance intervals often result in either "over-maintenance" or "under-maintenance" of components. As a crucial subsystem for ensuring the high-speed, safe, and stable operation of electric trains, research on the fault propagation patterns and optimization of maintenance modes for the bogie can provide decision support for the systematic operation and maintenance strategies of electric trains. In light of this, this paper establishes a comprehensive maintenance optimization method for multi-component systems in rail transit electric trains, based on real fault and maintenance records, and the correlation between key components. This aims to balance maintenance costs while ensuring the reliability and availability of the bogie system.
