Study on control method of ships passing through the mouth area of curved branch channel in mountainous areas
With the continuous development of shipping industry, the navigation safety of ships in complex waters, especially in the mouth area of curved branching channel in mountainous areas, has become an important issue. The water flow in these areas is complex and changeable, and the channel is narrow, which puts forward higher requirements for the handling ability of ships. Therefore, it is particularly important to study an effective control method for ships passing through the mouth area of curved branching channel. The purpose of this study is to propose an innovative control method for ships passing through the mouth area of curved branching channel in mountainous areas, which combines technical means such as historical data analysis, current simulation and ship dynamic control to ensure the safe and efficient passage of ships in complex waters. This study was supported by the Hunan Provincial Science and Technology Project (Project No. 202316)- "Research on Key Technologies for Capacity Expansion and Upgrading of Medium and High Head Navigable Structures Adjacent to Hydropower Station Dams in Mountain Rivers".
