IDENTIDAD Y RECONSTRUCCIÓN: LA TEORÍA LITERARIA DEL DERECHO SEGÚN LA VISIÓN DE JOSÉ CALVO GONZÁLEZ EN LA OBRA DELATORA DE JOYCE CAROL OATES
Currently, there is a greater permeability of identities that is reflected in social narratives and, therefore, in Law. The proximity between people caused by the stage of global development in which humanity finds itself highlights, if not exacerbates, polarities. An isolated and rigid view of the Law does not seem to favor the best solution of the countless new issues to be faced. This dissertation aims to analyze the contribution of the Literary Theory of Law, from the perspective of José Calvo González, to the development of a more intertwined theory of Law, including its cultural process of creation, maintenance, deconstruction and reconstruction, without the loss of autonomy, approaching the achievements of Human Rights. The book My Life as a Rat by Joyce Carol Oates, for mastering humanitarian issues, will be the core of the analysis of this cultural interlacing of narratives. The story takes place in the United States, within a family and a community of Irish immigrants. It is a rich production that goes beyond its historical context. It is expected that together with the theory of José Calvo González, using a multidisciplinary and holistic view, it will collaborate in thinking Law with Literature.
