In order to increase production productivity, this research provides an alternative to improve work systems that are not yet optimal by using the Macro Ergonomic Analysis and Design (MEAD) method. The work system that is not optimal is caused by 4 factors, based on observations there are four factors, namely: first on the engine factor, where the engine often experiences damage due to old age. The second factor is the physical work environment where the lighting in the production room is 250 lux, where the lighting provided is not in accordance with the standard, which is 300 lux for routine work. The third factor is organizational policy, namely the company pays less attention to overtime hours of workers.
