REPRESENTATION OF POPULAR ISLAM IN DIGITAL SPACE: RELIGIOUS TOLERANCE IN SUFI EXPRESSIONS ON THE INSTAGRAM ACCOUNT “_zukkk”

This research aims to explore the representation of Popular Islam in digital space, with a main focus on religious tolerance in Sufi expressions represented through the Instagram account "_zukkk". In the context of globalization and technological development, digital space has become a public space for people to interact, exchange perspectives, and seek information. In this case, religious messages that are inclusive and tolerant become significant, more than that the thirst for spirituality of modern society has brought interest in understanding serenity in Sufism. This research uses a qualitative approach method by analyzing the content on the Instagram account "_zukkk". Researchers explore the types of content posted, the language used, and the religious messages conveyed to the audience. The results showed that the "_zukkk" account is unique in echoing religious messages, especially Sufism, which is depicted through the painted and written works posted. Holistically, this research makes an important contribution in understanding the role of social media in shaping religious images. The representation of Popular Islam that affirms religious tolerance using a Sufistic approach that develops in the digital space can be an effective alternative to open understanding of Islam in the midst of the swift development of technology and information.
