INFLUENCE OF THE TIME OF SPRING VEGETATION RESUME ON THE PRODUCTIVITY OF WINTER WHEAT VARIETIES
The timing of spring vegetation renewal plays a crucial role in determining the productivity of winter wheat varieties. Early renewal, under favorable weather conditions, promotes a longer period of growth and development, allowing plants to more efficiently use available resources such as sunlight, water and nutrients. This, in turn, has a positive effect on the formation of productive organs, increasing the number of grains in the ear and their mass, which directly affects the final yield. The difference in vegetation recovery time between varieties can be explained by genetic characteristics, adaptability to local climatic conditions, and their resistance to spring frosts, which must be taken into account when choosing varieties for cultivation in a particular region.
