INTERDISCIPLINARY APPROACH TO DESIGNING LABORATORY COURSE CONTENT FOR DATABASE LIFE CYCLE DISCIPLINES
This study examines the development of professional competencies through an interdisciplinary approach to designing laboratory course content for database-related disciplines, including “Design Workshop”, “Information Systems Design” and “Databases”, as well as industrial practice within the “03.09.03 Applied Informatics” curriculum. The research analyzes the core professional educational program, identifies key competencies, and proposes a methodology for structuring interdisciplinary laboratory coursework based on database life cycle technology. The presented approach integrates theoretical knowledge with practical skills development across related disciplines, offering a comprehensive framework for curriculum design in applied informatics education.
