According to the results of the study, it was found that the most effective strategy is to maximize the number of completed voyages, especially in conditions of a falling market.At the same time, when the level of freight rates increases, it is more effective to choose the longest voyages, which allows you to "outwait" low freight rates.The value of this work lies in the practical orientation of the results, which can be used by shipping companies and freight managers to optimize fleet operation.The conclusions obtained can serve as the basis for further research in the field of risk management and adaptation of business strategies in shipping in conditions of a changing market.
