Tolerance as a professional competence of a doctor
Modern medical education gradually renounces the traditional model of education with the predominance of knowledge accumulation and transforms into a personality-oriented model, in which the future physician forms the ability to solve non-typical professional tasks, to creative thinking and to realizing the humanistic principle: to treat the patient, not the disease. In connection with this, a special role in the system of medical education tolerance acquires significance as a professional competence, which is formed on the personal qualities of future specialists who are able to meet the challenges of time, especially in the conditions of hostilities.
