Influence of the activator of the rumen microflora MegaBust Rumen on the physiological parameters of cows
The influence of feed on increasing productivity is mainly associated with the level of digestion and assimilation of nutrients in the ration. At the same time, the degree of assimilation and transformation of nutrients intake in the ration as well as the metabolic energy of the feed largely depend on the level of metabolism, which can be signifi cantly regulated by the introduction of new feed additives. In this regard, specialists from the MegaMix Company have developed a rumen content activator MegaBoost Rumen based on an inactivated fermentation extract of Trichoderma longibrachiantum and a specialized yeast strain. The purpose of the work was to study the influence of the new experimental additive Mega- Boost Rumen on the indices of rumen digestion, assimilation and use of nutrients in cows. The scientific and economic experiment was carried out at the enterprise JSC Seltso in the Volosovsky district of the Leningrad region. The additive was introduced into the main ration at a dose of 100 g per head/day. It was experimentally proven that the use of the studied additive contributed to the improvement of rumen digestion processes, which led to an increase in the digestibility of nutrient substances in the rations such as dry matter by 2.65 abs.%, organic matter by 2.11 abs.%, crude protein by 2.26 abs.%, crude fiber by 2.93 abs.%. The indicators of nitrogen balance and use by the organism of cows were also more preferable in the experimental group, the difference in nitrogen absorbed from nitrogen taken was 5.77 abs.% in favor of the cows intook the tested additive with the ration. Improved digestion processes contributed to an increase in milk productivity in cows.
