Pengaruh Kepemimpinan Terhadap Kinerja Penyuluh Kb Yang Dimediasi Dengan Motivasi Pada Dinas Pengendalian Penduduk, Keluarga Berencana, Pemberdayaan Perempuan Dan Perlindungan Anak Kabupaten Barito Kuala

This study aims to analyze: (1) the influence of leadership on motivation, (2) the effect of motivation on performance, (3) the direct impact of leadership on performance, and (4) the mediating role of motivation in the leadership-performance relationship among Family Planning Counselors at the Department of Population Control, Family Planning, Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (PPPKBP3A) of Barito Kuala Regency. Using an explanatory quantitative approach, this research involved all 46 Family Planning Counselors as respondents through total sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires, observation, and documentation, then analyzed using SmartPLS 3.0. The results revealed that: (1) leadership has a positive and significant effect on motivation (path coefficient = 0.592; T-statistic = 2.901); (2) motivation positively influences performance (? = 0.684; T = 4.384); (3) leadership directly and significantly affects performance (? = 0.592; p < 0.05); and (4) motivation successfully mediates the positive influence of leadership on performance (? = 0.628; p < 0.05). These findings suggest that enhancing transformational leadership and work motivation can optimize the performance of family planning counselors. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis: (1) pengaruh kepemimpinan terhadap motivasi, (2) pengaruh motivasi terhadap kinerja, (3) pengaruh langsung kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja, serta (4) peran mediasi motivasi dalam hubungan kepemimpinan-kinerja Penyuluh KB di Dinas PPPKBP3A Kabupaten Barito Kuala. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif eksplanatori, penelitian ini melibatkan seluruh populasi 46 Penyuluh KB dengan teknik total sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan SmartPLS 3.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi (koefisien jalur = 0,592; T-statistic = 2,901); (2) motivasi berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja (? = 0,684; T = 4,384); (3) kepemimpinan secara langsung berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja (? = 0,592; p < 0,05); serta (4) motivasi berhasil memediasi secara positif pengaruh kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja (? = 0,628; p < 0,05). Temuan ini menyiratkan bahwa peningkatan kepemimpinan transformasional dan motivasi kerja dapat mengoptimalkan kinerja penyuluh KB.
