Crisis Intervention in a Collaborative Model: A Case Study of a College Student with Suicidal Ideation
This study examines the role of a collaborative intervention model in addressing crises among university students, using the case of an individual with suicidal ideation. By integrating intervention resources, methods, and processes, the collaborative model effectively mobilized multiple stakeholders, including the university counseling center, academic units, and the family. A comprehensive approach combining psychological counseling, professional supervision, medical assessment, and family education was applied throughout the intervention process. This approach not only facilitated the resolution of the psychological crisis and the restoration of social functioning for the individual but also enhanced their self-regulation abilities and psychological resilience. The study highlights the practical value of the collaborative intervention model in university mental health crisis management and provides insights for optimizing intervention strategies.
