GLOBAL AMBITIOUS IN THE HYDROGEN SECTOR

Politics shapes much interest in new energy sources, and the transition to hydrogen fuel continues to arouse political and economic interests on the side of governmental and business circles in many states. This article analyzes global efforts in development of hydrogen energy which is considered pivotal in transitioning to sustainable energy system. In this respect article considers different countries strategies aimed at active investing in hydrogen technologies and infrastructure. Among the highlighted and discussed issue are the main hydrogen production methods, such as water electrolysis and natural gas reforming, and technological and economic challenges on the way to sustainable energy system. However, these challenges help in revealing the potential of hydrogen energy for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and ensuring energy security. Global research in hydrogen energy points at the prospects of this technology as the basis for the future energy system. Despite the importance of investments and infrastructure development, significant technological and economic obstacles persist. The international cooperation and government support are essential for the successful transition to a hydrogen economy and for the achievement of its benefits.
