STATE POLICY OF THE KYRGYZ REPUBLIC IN THE SPHERE OF PROTECTION OF WOMEN'S RIGHTS
The article examines the evolution of the state policy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of women's rights protection since independence. The protection of women's rights is one of the priority tasks of the state, since women's rights are closely linked to the observance of human rights in general. In the Kyrgyz Republic, as in many other countries of the world, women face various forms of discrimination and violence. State policy in this area is aimed at creating equal opportunities for women and men, eliminating discrimination and ensuring their safety. Particular attention is paid to the adoption and implementation of the National Strategy on Achieving Gender Equality until 2030. Despite the progress made by the Kyrgyz Republic in the protection of women's rights, there are still problems that need to be addressed. The article emphasizes the need for a comprehensive approach that includes legislative reforms, awareness raising and economic empowerment of women.
