KESESUAIAN LAHAN UNTUK PERENCANAAN DAN PENGEMBANGAN KAWASAN INDUSTRI DI WILAYAH REBANA JAWA BARAT

This study aims to identify land suitability levels for industrial zone development in Kawasan Rebana of West Java using Geographic Information System (GIS)-based spatial analysis. The data utilized include parameters such as slope gradient, multi-hazard, proximity to roads, rivers, settlements, and soil type, aligned with Ministerial Regulation No. 35 of 2010 and the author's refinement. An overlay technique in GIS was applied to integrate these parameters to produce a land suitability map. The results reveal that Indramayu Regency has the highest potential, with areas classified as suitable and highly suitable, amounting to 123,543.38 hectares and 25,236.07 hectares, respectively. Conversely, Kuningan Regency shows limited highly suitable land, with only 1,307.06 hectares, requiring additional interventions. Cirebon City, as an urban area, is more suitable to serve as a logistics hub supporting surrounding industrial zones. This study highlights the importance of GIS-based approaches in spatial planning to ensure optimal and sustainable industrial zone development. Recommendations are provided for each region based on their respective potentials and challenges.
