Kenakalan Remaja Dalam Novel Sekar Rinonce Karya Tulus Setiyadi (Suatu Tinjauan Sosiologi Sastra)

ABSTRACT: This study aimed to describe the reading of the Sekar Rinonce novel by Tulus Setiyadi to find: 1) the intrinsic structure of the novel; 2) the form of juvenile delinquency in the context of the reality of today's society. Methodologically, this research in the area of ​​literary sociology is descriptive qualitative using content analysis based on the findings of the intrinsic elements of the novel (structural approach). The findings of this study are: 1) the elements that build the Sekar Rinonce novel by Tulus Setiyadi are interrelated to build a contextual story integrity; 2) the form of juvenile delinquency exposed is violent acts that lead to crime such as rape, fighting, drunkenness, and sexual harashment; 3) there is a form of ethical delinquency such as disobedience or opposition to teachers; 4) according to social observations, this form of juvenile delinquency does occur in real life in today's society. This study produces claims in the form of social concerns where literary works are a portrait of the reality of society and social deviation in any form requires attention from interested parties. ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pembacaan novel Sekar Rinonce karya Tulus Setiyadi untuk menemukan: 1) struktur intrinsik novel; 2) bentuk kenakalan remaja dalam konteks realitas kehidupan masyarakat saat ini. Secara metodologis, penelitian dalam wilayah sosiologi sastra ini bersifat deskriptif kualitatif menggunakan analisis isi (content analysis) berdasarkan temuan elemen intrinsik novel (pendekatan struktural). Temuan penelitian ini ialah: 1) unsur-unsur yang membangun novel Sekar Rinonce karya Tulus Setiyadi saling berkaitan utnuk membangun keutuhan cerita yang kontekstual; 2) bentuk kenakalan remaja yang terekspos ialah tindakan kekerasan yang mengarah kriminalitas seperti pemerkosaan, perkelahian, mabuk, dan pelecehan seksual; 3) terdapat bentuk kenakalan etik seperti pembangkangan atau penentangan terhadap guru; 4) menurut pengamatan sosial, bentuk kenakalan remaja tersebut memang terjadi dalam kehidupan nyata dalam masyarakat sekarang. Penelitian ini menghasilkan klaim berupa keprihatinan sosial di mana karya sastra merupakan potret realitas masyarakat dan penyimpangan sosial dalam bentuk apa pun memerlukan perhatian dari pihak-pihak yang berkepentingan.
