Enhanced photo-assisted lithium-ion batteries using natural dye-impregnated LiFePO4 cathodes

We introduce a novel photocathode for photo-assisted LIBs by incorporating natural turmeric dye into LiFePO 4 via an impregnation method. The photocathode enhances capacity by 9.9% (charge) and 7.7% (discharge) at 0.5C under light.
