Six Sigma: A Measurement of Process Capability for Extra Power Pain Control Caplets
Background: A process capability study is a research project that uses capability indices to compare the output of an in-control process to specification constraints. The control and capabilities of extra-power pain control caplets are described in this work. Objectives: The goal of six sigma study on extra power pain control caplets is to enhance and adjust the process to produce the defects-free tablets and to achieve perfection in tablets manufacturing by reviewing it and to maximize customer satisfaction. As no method of six sigma was applied on extra power pain control caplets. Methods: The process capability value for parameters such as hardness, thickness, compression, disintegration test and friability was observed. Result: The studied parameters found results which is above 1.33 as per the observation Conclusion: The process was in control and capable enough to produce a quality result.
