Abstract 1577 A Novel Chemo-enzymatic Bispecific Antibody Production Method Utilizing an ADP Ribosyl Cyclase
With its great efficacy and low chance of side effects, bispecific antibodies (BsAb) are now a promising treatment for cancer. However, for about 60 years of development since it was first introduced in 1960s, only 12 BsAbs have been approved by FDA, 9 of them being T cell engagers. One major reason for a dampened translation rate of BsAb is the complicated production of BsAbs. Current methods of BsAb conjugations often result in heterogeneous batches of BsAb, unstable products, or immunogenic agents.
