Abstract 2525 Integrating Molecular and Cellular Biology Tools in Malate Dehydrogenase (MDH) CUREs
Course-based undergraduate research experiences (CUREs) are transformative for engaging students. This poster showcases the integration of advanced cellular and molecular biology tools in undergraduate courses, enabling students to investigate the biochemical and physiological roles of malate dehydrogenase (MDH) across diverse systems. Students in molecular techniques courses gain hands-on experience using traditional restriction cloning, Gibson assembly, site-directed mutagenesis, and sequencing to create unique MDH clones.
