Abstract 1461 Exploring the Role of Membrane Composition in NeuGc GM3 Recognition by Monoclonal Antibody 14F7
NeuGc GM3, a tumor-specific ganglioside with restricted expression in certain cancers, is a critical target for therapeutic development. The monoclonal antibody 14F7 exhibits exceptional specificity for NeuGc GM3, making it a promising candidate for cancer immunotherapy. This study investigates the molecular mechanisms underlying 14F7 binding to NeuGc GM3, focusing on the influence of membrane composition and lipid interactions aiming to enhance our understanding of ganglioside recognition mechanisms.
