Abstract 1122 Circulating expression of Glycoprotein Non-Metastatic B and inflammatory triggers in NAFLD
Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is a multifaceted derived pathogenesis that can progress to severe liver injuries, including cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Glycoprotein Non-Metastatic B (GPNMB) has a proinflammatory phenotypic behavior and is involved with lipid-associated various pathological processes, including inflammation, fibrosis, macrophage plasticity and tumorigenesis. This study aimed to evaluate the circulating expression of GPNMB and its association with pro-inflammatory triggers, specifically interleukin-6 (IL-6), TNF-α and interleukin-10 (IL-10), across different stages of liver disease NAFLD, cirrhosis, and HCC compared to healthy controls.
