Abstract 2699 Enterovirus A71 (EV-A71) utilizes IQGAP1 to facilitate the assembly of exosome-containing viral particles

Following infection of a host cell, enterovirus A71 (EV-A71) undergoes protein translation and genome replication, ultimately assembling into viral particles that are released into the extracellular space by cell lysis. However, numerous studies have demonstrated that EV-A71 can also release viral particles via a non-lytic mechanism, although research into this alternative pathway remains limited. In this study, we initially sought to investigate the host proteins that interact with the EV-A71 3CD protein to facilitate the formation of replication organelles.
