Abstract 1779 Multiomic profiling reveals critical role for triacylgycerol mobilization in overcoming mitochondrial dysfunction
remained unchanged. When exploring the three detected MG species independently, only MG 22:4 was significantly higher in older groups, with its abundance positively correlating with age.Total cardiolipins also increased in the older age groups, with the abundance of four species (68:2, 68:3, 70:3, and 70:4) correlating significantly with age.Our lipid pathway analysis predicted that aging activated/suppressed various pathways and enzyme genes, such as PNPLAs and DGAT.Conclusion: Our work demonstrates that ovarian lipid composition and abundance undergo dynamic changes throughout the lifespan, starting at puberty and continuing into aging. To our knowledge, this is the first evaluation of lipids across the mouse lifespan, paving the way for a deeper understanding of the complex relationship between lipid metabolism and ovarian function.
