Abstract 1982 Determining Interactions of Homeostatic Modulators to Small GTPase Cdc42 using Surface Plasmon Resonance
Homeostatic modulators (HMs) are powerful therapeutics for various human diseases, but the identification of these HMs is unpredictable and rare. Previously we discovered HMs, ZCL278 as a partial agonist, ZCL279 as a hormetic agonist and ZCL367 as a bona-fide inhibitor, for a small GTPase in the Rho family, Cdc42, as potential Alzheimer's Disease (AD) therapeutics. Although the preliminary results show trends in disease modifying, the mechanism for each of these compounds has not been established.
