Abstract 2772 Enabling Long Read Sequencing by Automating DNA Shearing and SMRTbell Library Construction on the Biomek i7 Hybrid Workstation
One means to further advance genetic discovery is through the utilization of long-read sequencing where larger DNA fragments (1k to 20K in length) can be analyzed as a single genetic component and reduce the complexity of genetic assembly of sequencing data. The PacBio SMRTbell® prep kit 3.0 for whole genome and metagenome libraries is a 5-step process that enables sequencing on PacBio® long-read systems Sequel II/IIe or Revio. A variety of sample inputs including human, plant, animal, microbial, or metagenomic can be used.
