O O que é feito da educação das relações étnico-raciais nos currículos?
This is a theoretical study that aims to encourage discussion about the potential of Black Literature for building anti-racist education in basic education curricula and teacher training courses, with an emphasis on the area of Letters and Literature. This study presents the results of the bibliographic review developed during ongoing research at the Master's Degree in Teaching at UNIPAMPA, Campus Bagé, based on the analysis of dissertations and theses from the CAPES Repository, produced between 2003 and 2023. , whose research covers the topic in question. Although the advances in Brazilian educational legislation, achieved thanks to black social and intellectual activism, are notable, research shows that in education and teacher training, a hegemonic curriculum based on Eurocentric whitening prevails, as ethnic-racial relations are not substantially worked on in schools. and Brazilian universities. This greatly compromises the construction of anti-racist education in view of the erasure of African, Afro-Brazilian and indigenous histories and cultures in the curricula. It is understood that the fight against racism and the achievement of a full-fledged education necessarily involves reformulating curricula in order to include the production of knowledge about the histories and cultures of original peoples and black communities.
