The study shows that women entrepreneurs in conditions of social vulnerability present, among other barriers: gender prejudice and gender violence and difficulties in providing human, financial and material resources to the entrepreneurial business. Among the ways of overcoming such barriers, the literature recognizes the need for a support network as a way of establishing, in the community, offering qualification programs for technical and professional training; access to the resources necessary for the business and, also, the elaboration and implementation of programs and public policies that offer subsidies for the management of their businesses adapted to the real needs of low-income women.
